This last week our family had the amazing privilege of taking a vacation to Polk County, Florida’s Sweetest Spot, with Visit Central Florida! This location is loaded with epic outdoor adventures, incredible eats and Sunshine State attractions! From wide open spaces to exhilarating thrill rides at nearby theme parks, Visit Central Florida has it all! Read below as I break it down to each of our amazing central Florida vacay spots!

The first stop on our Visit Central Florida Vacation was to Peppa Pig Theme Park! Peppa Pig Theme Park is a super fun Peppa Pig themed park geared toward younger children. We loved this place because it was super fun for Judah (1.5) and Nazareth (8 months), while also being really fun for Cephas (6) and Zeb (4.5). We rode on Daddy Pigs Roller Coaster, Ms Rabbits Hot Air Balloon, played at Grandpa Pigs playground, rode on George’s Dinosaur, and sailed the open sea with Grand Dad Dog. We also really enjoyed the Muddy Puddles splash pad here! It had slides that were perfect for all the boys to be able to enjoy!
You can see an in depth look of our Peppa Trip here by watching our Central Florida Highlights Reel on Instagram: Peppa Pig Highlights

Legoland is one of the MOST FUN places on the planet!! It is a child’s dream come true and it makes adults transform into a kid again! Seriously I cannot talk enough about how fun Legoland is for kids!! It is perfect for ages 0-100, although I’d say it’s really good for ages 0-10. It was a place where Judah was able to THRIVE while the older boys also had the best time!

We started the day at Duplo Valley! Duplo Valley is the perfect place for toddlers! Judah (1.5) was able to ride every ride without an issue. He had so much fun and felt so included! It made the trip a million times more special that Judah had so much fun and was able to go on rides.
Next up our family traveled to Mini Land! Mini Land is a huge attraction of millions of Lego builds of places all over the world! The boys loved the Nascar Legos, and I loved the Tampa Riverwalk!
After Miniland our family headed to The Land of Adventure for more rides! This is where the boys absolute fave ride was, the Coastasaurous! I have a video of that ride here: Legoland Videos

Two things I really appreciated while at Legoland was the Ride Chart, Tot Spots + the Play Spots in line. The Ride Chart is posted at the beginning of Legoland where you can measure your child against the chart. This shows how tall the child is, along with which rides they can enjoy! It was so helpful for us to go to the rides we knew the kids could ride. Tot Spots are all over the park! They are shaded areas (and some indoor areas) where babies + toddlers can play and rest safely while older siblings ride rides! This is so convenient and helpful for families. The play area in Duplo Land is wonderful because it gives a chance for toddlers to play with toys safely while mom or dad waits in line for the ride! It is such an amazing family feature that I really appreciated!

After riding rides all over Legoland, we went to Pirates Cove to see the Greatest Watershow in Florida! This show was so amazing and featured incredibly talented water skiers, jet skiers, wake borders, and an incredible surprise ending! I cannot recommend seeing the show enough it is very fun, entertaining and interactive!

After the watershow we headed to Legolands Waterpark!! Another absolute amazingly fun time, Legoland Waterpark is the best! They have an area for toddlers and babies, a lazy river, a huge childrens Waterpark area, a wave pool, and huge water slides for adults! It is a BLAST and the best way to beat the heat! One thing I LOVED about Legoland Waterpark is the lazy river rafts. They have rafts that have bottoms so that babies can join the fun!! Nazareth loved riding with the family on the Lazy River! A memory we will always cherish as a family.

You HAVE to stay at Legoland Hotel when you visit Legoland!! Legoland Hotel is the most FUN hotel you can imagine!! I love Legoland Hotel for so many reasons but the top ten are:
I also love that the Legoland Hotel is RIGHT next to Legoland!! It made it so convenient to get to Legoland and it gave the opportunity for alex to take the littles back for a nap while the older boys could stay and play at Legoland!

Bok Tower Gardens is one of the MOST beautiful places I’ve ever visited! Bok Tower Gardens is a national historic landmark that opened in 1929 in Lake Wales, Florida. It is 50 acres of beautiful gardens located at the top of Iron Mountain, with the central point being the Singing Tower. The view from the mountain are beautiful and tranquil. This place is truly a magical place like no other, and definitely a must see in Florida.

Bok Tower Gardens also has a childrens area! With almost three acres of nature play, Hammock Hollow Children’s Garden teaches conservation and the vital connection between animals, plants, and people. There is beautiful art, a cooling water features, vibrant plantings, a boardwalk, a stage for little performers, and a music area. Kids have things to climb on, under and through, as well as places to build, dig and create. It was super fun for the kids!! I loved how it was very waldorf style of play for the kids. And the nature based playground was absolutely perfect!

Ridge Island Groves is one of those side of the road gems that you know you have to stop in when you pass them by on the highway. They are an Old Country Farm Store where they have a huge arrangement of home made and delicious food. We wanted to buy the entire store, but settled for jarred peaches, oranges, potatoes, lime chips, medium salsa, souvenirs for the kids, and their delicious home made ice cream! Ridge Island Groves also has a U pick! They have Citrus, Peaches and Blueberries when the fruits are in season. On our visit we were able to pick fresh delicious blueberries! It was so much fun for the kids, and they really enjoyed getting to eat the blueberries they picked themselves! Ridge Island Groves is also one of the few Florida Citrus packinghouses left in the state of Florida. They have a huge citrus farm, and ship all over the US! I love places like this and I’m so glad that we stopped here to grab some delicious food after a fun day at Bok Tower Gardens.

Camp Margaritaville Auburndale was the amazing resort we stayed at for the last half of our trip. It is a great RV Resort + Cabana Cabin rental on a beautiful 60 acre property next to Lake Myrtle. They have awesome amenities including two pools, a water slide, a splash pad, an arcade, a laundry house, and tiki bar. My kids loved the pool and the splash pad and we spent a lot of time there. Judah especially loved the water slide! It was super fun and we spent the entire afternoon there. During our Camp Margaritaville stay we headed down the street to have dinner at Tantrums Lakeside Grill on Lake Myrtle. While having dinner we got to watch the Wakeboarders riding at Elite Cable Park! This was so fun to watch it inspired Alex to try it! I highly recommend coming to visit while staying at Camp Margaritaville, you can even watch the wake boarding from Camp Margaritaville’s lakeside pool.

Our family stayed at the Cabana Cabins at Camp Margaritaville and we LOVED it!! I can’t recommend it enough for a Central Florida visit! The Cabana was a perfect home away from home and came with everything a house would need! We loved all the storage, and really appreciated the bunk beds, the master suite, and the pull out couch. Even though we’re a family of six, we all still fit in the cabin comfortably.

Explorations V Childrens Museum is a super fun childrens museum in the heart of downtown Lakeland. With three stories of hands on learning, it was right up our alley of fun! The kids really loved the orange factory and playground in the basement. They also loved astronauts space area on the main floor. And they really loved the music area! We saw Cephas had a real love for the piano while performing here. It was awesome this museum had real instruments for the kids to use! I could also really appreciate the toddler area! It was perfect for Nazareth and Judah. It was extra special that while we were there, Nazareth pulled herself up for the first time! There was also a super fun sensory pit on the top floor the boys really enjoyed! We had a great time at this museum.
