The St Pete Pier is an ABSOLUTE must see in St Pete, and all of Tampa Bay. It is a completely fun experience for everyone of all ages! It’s become a frequent place I meet other moms for a play dates, a frequent date night fave, and truly one of the most fun places in St Pete.

Coming up to the Pier, there is beautiful landscaping and one of the prizes of the Pier, Janet Exhelman’s “Bending Arch” sculpture. Completely captivating in the daytime, it is absolutely stunning in the evening. It’s a great place to have a chat or sit and picnic!

As you continue to walk the Pier, you’ll come to the Glazer Family playground! This is one of our favorite parks in St Pete and one we visit frequently with our friends There is an area for littles, and then there is an area for bigger kids. The playground equipment was designed SO PERFECTLY! It is totally on theme with the pier. Ships to climb, nets to crawl, it is truly completely amazing in every way. We spend hours playing here!

Right near the park are some bathrooms and a pizza/ice cream/ and coffee place. There is also an area where you can watch street performers on the weekend! This area also has the splash pad that’s open year round, the rolling hills with views of the rest of the pier + the pier restaurants, along with the beach area. My boys love the beach area and the splash pad. And they often have fun running up and down the grassy hill!

As you continue to walk, you begin to see the rest of the pier stretching into the bay, with breathtaking views all around. There’s Pier Tiki ahead, the Alfred Whitted Airport and the Marina on the right, with views of the coast of St Pete on the left. It’s absolutely beautiful and a great place to stroll and enjoy the beauty of St Pete.

A place of peace, walking the St Pete Pier brings serenity and joy to all. And then at the end of the Pier is one of my favorite spots, Pier Teaki! Pier Teaki is at the top of this building at the edge of the Pier, and is another must visit in St Pete and all of Tampa Bay. It offers stunning views of The Bay and Downtown St Pete while offering delicious drinks and bar bites. We love to get the Pina Collada and the Motz Flatbread 🤤

Spend the day with the kids playing at the park, have lunch at the pizza place, hit up the splash pad, and then run in the waves at the beach. Then drop off the kids with a sitter and hit up the restaurants at the Pier for a fun date night. Walk the Pier with a friend and enjoy the beauty. Admire the incredible sculptures and art through the Pier.

One thing is for certain, there is something for everyone at the St Pete Pier, it truly is an exPIERience! 🌴☀️
